No Hard Feelings

Hey Y'all! I finally did my Valentine's Day look for this year. I found a really gorgeous color by Sally Hansen called No Hard Feelings and that is close to my favorite shades of Lilac. I decided to pair that with silver as I have some crackle polishes by Cherimoya that are very close to those same colors. I've never worn crackle polish myself so I wanted to give it a try.

I did each hand opposite each other which means that each finger is different. LOL! Is it too much?! Here is the final look! I hope you like it.

Friday I'm In Love!

Hey Y'all! Happy Friday! Here is a Valentine's Day design I created for Robin Moses & professionalDQ's Friday I'm in love collaboration. I really had a lot of fun last time with the Let It Snow collaboration so I definately wanted to enter.

This design was inspired by this design I found on tumblr. I'm not sure of the artist's name because the site is in Japanese. But her work is lovely!

Hope you all like it!

Broken Heart

Hey Yall! I did this anti-valentine theme on my nails last year. The only thing I did different was to not use the red and black chunky glitter mix.

To create this design I used NSI Basic Black & Fire Engine Red acrylic along with a mix of red holographic, small & large red hexagons and small black rectangle glitter. I also used black and silver acrylic paints to make the tear and the stitches. Hope you like it!

Inlaid Rose

Hey Y'all! I created this design because I have been wanting to try to do an inlaid 3D look. That is where the 3D object is encapsulated under the acrylic. The only thing that I don't like about the design is that there were a lot of air bubbles in it so I will have to work on that.

To create the look I used NSI Radiant White and NSI Ecstasy on the tip and used a pink mix to sculpt the rose then encapsulated the design. Hope you like it!

Tokidoki Valentine...Till Death Do Us Part

Hey Y'all! This is my Tokidoki inspired Valentine's day 3d nail art design. Tokidoki is a skate design collection by Simone Legno. His art is very cute & I absolutely love it! Some peices that are available in his collection are purses, clothing, jewelry and much more. And the best thing is that he has a Hello Kitty collection that is just too awesome for mere words! The Hello Kitty for Tokidoki is super cute & merchandise can be purchased from Sanrio & Tokidoi.it.

Here is a picture of the cute couple that I used as reference.

Unfortunately, the collection is a bit pricey so the only thing I have purchased is this cell phone strap which I got from Strapya World and the Leo print bag. I got the bag from Ebay. They have quite a few really cute ones that came out in 2009. Well here are the Tokidoki items that I have.

I really wanted the Leo Hello Kitty bag but I couldn't bring myself to spend $300... It is very cute though!

I did create a full tutorial for this design and that you will find below along with a few more pictures. Have a great weekend!

Hershey's Kisses

Here's yet another Valentine's Day 3d nail art design. It is my 1st entry to myglitternails acrylic nail art contest. The prizez for this contest are so awesome. Check them out here. This one was inspired by Valentine's Hershey's kisses. I hope y'all like it! I think its so cute!

For this design I used red, hot pink, silver & white acrylic glitter that I mixed myself. For the colored acrylic, I used clear acrylic powder and mixed regular craft glitter from Michael's and the white is white acrylic with translucent glitters. For sculpting the candies I used a size #2 sculpting brush.

I've made a full tutorial for the design and I'll post a few more pictures. I still have a couple more Valentine's Day tutorials planned so keep an eye out.

Another thing I'd like to mention is that I am 23 subscribers away from my 1st 100!!! I'm so excited and I'll be celebrating with a big contest. I hope that I'll get a lot of entries! Take care!
